 SEL-2505
Remote I/O Module
Use the SEL-2505
Remote I/O Module to send and receive up to eight relay contacts
over a pair of optical fibers. Replace long runs of bulky control
cables with a compact fiber-optic cable. Isolate and eliminate
hazardous ground loops and induced voltages. The status of the
fiber interface is continuously monitored, and an alarm is issued
whenever a problem is detected. Three common fiber interfaces are
available for 500 meters to 80 kilometers.
