Use the SEL-2800 fiber-optic transceivers on campus or in harsh environments. The SEL-2800 provides a reliable, inexpensive method to safely extend the reach of your RS-232 devices. The SEL-2800 uses the simple V-pin termination system and 200-micron fiber. The SEL-2800 draws its power directly from the data and handshake lines.
