V-Pin Benefits of the V-Pin Termination System and HCS® 200 µm Fiber Crimp and Cleave Termination Process Made easy with the T800 termination kit, the cable jacket is stripped, crimped to the connector ferrule, and cleaved using a specialized diamond cleave tool at the bare end of the fiber. This process produces a high-quality endface with a completely mechanical process, minimizing the impact of operator error. Finished Cable AssembliesSEL provides fiber-optic cable assemblies built with either zipcord (FZ) or PVC-jacketed (FD) dual-fiber cable. FZ cables are standard-duty, low-cost, duplex, flat zipcord. FZ cables should not be installed where they will be exposed to direct sunlight. FD cables are high-strength, heavy-duty, PVC-jacketed indoor/outdoor rated, dual-channel, round cable.
